Guess who doesn't have any (visible) kidney stones!!! YES, ME!

I am so excited I can hardly stand myself. This means that the two small ones that I had during my last checkup got flushed out with very little fanfare. I did feel a sharp twinge once or twice and I thought "Hmmm, Kidney Stone?" but I waited for the real pain to come and it never did.

I am so happy about this. The hydration and iced tea reduction has worked! If I can just stay in the habits I have been trying to form, I will probably be able to stay stone-free for all intents and purposes.

Wheee!

And I got there early for my x-ray just in case, and they got me right in and right out. Then I got to the doctor's office early, and THEY got me in right away too. So I got out way earlier than I had hoped but I have the rest of the day off anyway and it's like SO COOL.

You can see the remains of cake in the background, because we had cake in honor of Koganei's birthday tonight. Two cakes, since Pres Man and I got one and Quix made one. They were both delicious and we had candles and singing and everything.

Getting closer to the end! I’m working on some things that should be able to help me maintain perspectives and so on.

I’m running a poll to see which main character gets a wallpaper-style drawing of him to commemorate the completion of Chapter 1. You can vote here if you have a deviantART or just comment on this site or send me an email at banditkingjing@gmail.com. The winner of the poll will get a wallpaper-sized drawing sometime around the end of Chapter 1. The winner will also be a surprise so you won’t know who it is until I finish! I’m running the poll in several places so any results shown on dA may not be indicative of the final result.
