WotC goes nuts
So some folks let the PHB2 get out (that is the 4e one I am assuming) for free on the webz. And WotC is taking a bad lesson from the movie and record industry and going nuts about trying to stop folks. They have pulled all of their legal download pdfs off of the various sites. Yes, you can now no longer download WotC material legally. You are no longer allowed to purchase old material in pdf format. Yup, because all of those old 1e folks are really hurting the 4e sales.
Worse, they gave retailers apparently no warning before demanding this. In fact some sites are not allowing people who have purchased a pdf in the past to download it now. So if you didn't get around to downloading it earlier you get shafted.
Smooth move, WotC.
